Sauce with Gelatin

A flavorful sauce with gelatin that enhances taste and supports health goals.

Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon gelatin
  • 2 cups broth or stock (low-sodium)
  • 1 cup fresh vegetables (onions, carrots, peppers)
  • Herbs and spices (garlic, rosemary, thyme)
  • Acid (vinegar or lemon juice)

Instructions

  1. Prepare your ingredients by chopping vegetables and gathering spices.
  2. Bloom the gelatin by mixing it with cold water and letting it sit for 5 minutes.
  3. Sauté the vegetables in a saucepan over medium heat with oil for 5-7 minutes.
  4. Add the broth and let it simmer for 10 minutes.
  5. Stir in the bloomed gelatin and heat gently for 3-5 minutes.
  6. Season with spices and acid, then simmer for another 5 minutes.
  7. Remove from heat, allow to cool slightly, and serve over proteins or vegetables.

Notes

Store the sauce in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to one week.
