Manuka Honey Herbal Tea

A soothing tea made with Manuka honey and warming herbs, perfect for weight management and overall wellbeing.

Ingredients

  • 1 teaspoon Manuka honey (per cup)
  • 8 ounces hot water (240 ml)
  • 1/2 teaspoon lemon juice (optional)
  • 1 slice fresh ginger or 1/4 teaspoon powdered ginger
  • 1 teabag or 1 teaspoon loose chamomile or green tea
  • Optional: cinnamon stick, mint leaves, or a slice of orange

Instructions

  1. Heat water to 158 to 176°F (70 to 80°C) and pour 8 ounces into a mug.
  2. Add a teabag of chamomile or green tea and a slice of fresh ginger to the hot water. Steep for 3 to 5 minutes.
  3. Remove the teabag and strain out the ginger slice.
  4. Stir in 1 teaspoon of Manuka honey until fully dissolved.
  5. Add lemon juice if desired and stir gently.
  6. Taste and adjust with cinnamon or mint, then serve immediately.

Notes

Store brewed tea in a sealed container in the refrigerator for up to 24 hours without honey.
