Lemon Gelatin Tonic

A refreshing blend of zesty lemon and gelatin that aids in hydration and supports weight loss.

  • 1 tablespoon gelatin (or agar-agar for vegan)
  • 1 cup water (can substitute with sparkling water)
  • Stevia or honey (optional)

Instructions

  1. Gather your ingredients: Start by collecting 1 cup of water, the juice of one lemon, and 1 tablespoon of gelatin.
  2. Heat water: In a small saucepan, bring the water to a gentle boil over medium heat, stirring occasionally (about 2-3 minutes).
  3. Dissolve gelatin: Remove it from heat and slowly sprinkle the gelatin into the hot water while whisking continuously.
  4. Add lemon juice: Stir in the lemon juice until well combined.
  5. Cool down: Allow the mixture to cool slightly for about 10 minutes.
  6. Refrigerate: Pour the mixture into a container and chill in the refrigerator for at least 1-2 hours.
  7. Serve & enjoy: Serve chilled, either plain or sweetened with a bit of stevia or honey.

Notes

For a detox version, infuse with ginger or mint. Consider experimenting with berries or cucumber for flavor variations.
