Honey and Olive Oil Mix

A simple home remedy and light recipe made by combining raw honey with extra virgin olive oil, often diluted with warm water or lemon for appetite control and digestion support.

  • 1 tablespoon raw honey
  • 2 to 4 ounces warm water
  • 1 teaspoon optional lemon juice
  • A pinch of optional ground cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Warm the water for about 20 to 30 seconds until it reaches lukewarm, roughly 100 to 110°F.
  2. Pour 2 to 4 ounces of the warm water into a glass or jar.
  3. Add 1 tablespoon of raw honey to the warm water and stir to dissolve.
  4. Slowly drizzle in 1 tablespoon of extra virgin olive oil while stirring continuously until a smooth emulsion forms.
  5. If using, add 1 teaspoon of fresh lemon juice and a pinch of cinnamon; stir for another 5 to 10 seconds.
  6. Let the mixture sit for 30 seconds to let flavors meld, then sip slowly while warm. Store any unused portion in the refrigerator and consume within 24 hours.
