Canaan Honey Trick

A soothing warm-honey drink that helps reduce sugar cravings and supports mindful eating.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 teaspoon raw honey (or up to 1 tablespoon for a sweeter sip)
  • 6 to 8 ounces warm water (100 to 120°F)
  • 1 teaspoon fresh lemon juice (or apple cider vinegar for tang)
  • Pinch of ground cinnamon (optional)
  • Thin slice of fresh ginger (optional)

Instructions

  1. Warm the water until it reaches around 100 to 120°F.
  2. Measure 1 teaspoon of raw honey in a mug.
  3. Add 1 teaspoon of fresh lemon juice or apple cider vinegar.
  4. Pour the warm water over the honey and lemon, and stir gently until dissolved.
  5. Add spices like cinnamon or ginger if desired.
  6. Sip slowly over 5 to 10 minutes.
  7. Clean the spoon and mug promptly afterwards.

Notes

Start with a smaller amount of honey and increase if necessary. Avoid boiling the water to preserve honey’s aroma.
