Ingredients

  • High-quality honey (2 teaspoons)
  • Warm water (1 cup, about 120 to 140°F)

  • Ground cinnamon (a pinch)
  • Optional grated ginger (1/4 teaspoon)

  2. Pour one cup of the warm water into a mug and add 2 teaspoons of honey. Stir for 20 to 30 seconds until completely dissolved.
  3. Squeeze in 1 teaspoon of fresh lemon juice and add a pinch of ground cinnamon. Stir again.
  4. If using, grate a small amount of fresh ginger into the mug and let it steep for 30 seconds to a minute.

Notes

For a chilled version, cool the drink and serve over ice. Be mindful of portion sizes to avoid excess sugar.
