Canaan Honey Drink

A soothing honey-based beverage combining honey, lemon, and warm water, perfect for supporting weight management and digestion.

Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon honey (or maple syrup for a vegan option)
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice (bottled can be used in a pinch)
  • 1 cup warm water (about 120 to 140 F)
  • Optional: 1/2 inch fresh ginger slice (or 1/4 teaspoon grated ginger)
  • Optional: 1 pinch of cinnamon (or 1 cinnamon stick)

Instructions

  1. Heat water to a warm temperature (120 to 140 F).
  2. Pour warm water into a mug.
  3. Add honey and stir gently until dissolved.
  4. Squeeze in fresh lemon juice and stir, adjusting the amount to taste.
  5. If using ginger, add it and let steep for 2 to 3 minutes, then remove.
  6. Optionally add a pinch of cinnamon and stir.
  7. Let cool for a minute, then enjoy.
  8. For a chilled version, allow to cool, pour over ice, and add a sprig of mint.

Notes

This drink can be used as a low-calorie replacement for sugary beverages. Adjust sweetness and acidity to personal preference.
